Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

This notice informs you, as required by Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), about how your personal data is processed when you use Taktile, in our capacity as the data controller.

2. Categories of Personal Data

The following categories of personal data are processed when you use the app:

  • Identity and contact: name/display name, email address, username
  • User activity: game scores, leaderboard records, friend/group/duel data
  • Transaction security: user id, device information (for the device limit), session and presence
  • Marketing/analytics: advertising id, app usage and crash data
  • Financial: subscription status (payment data is processed by the app stores)

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Creating and managing your account and session
  • Providing games, leaderboards, duels and social features
  • Anti-cheat, score verification and transaction security
  • Improving the app and diagnosing errors
  • Operating advertising and subscription services
  • Meeting legal obligations

4. Legal Grounds (KVKK art. 5 and 6)

Your data is processed on the grounds of performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, establishment/exercise/protection of a right, and legitimate interest without harming your fundamental rights; and, where required, based on your explicit consent.

5. Transfers

To deliver the service, your data may be transferred to infrastructure and service providers located abroad (Google Firebase/Cloud, Google AdMob, Apple, RevenueCat) under KVKK art. 9. Data is hosted on Google Cloud and processed under those providers' privacy policies.

6. Method of Collection

Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated and partly automated means, while you use the app.

7. Your Rights (KVKK art. 11)

Under article 11, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, know the third parties to whom data is transferred, request correction or deletion, request notification of these actions to third parties, object to results arising solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damages due to unlawful processing.
